Pierce County Jail

Closing Advice

Interview with Ryan, Alex and George

JM: Is there anything else you would want a friend or family member to know if they have a loved one going to jail?
Ryan: MIND YOU OWN BUSINESS WHILE IN JAIL
Alex: Understand that it takes a HUGE toll on someone and they may not be how they were before they went in.
George: DONT DO THE CRIME IF YOU ARE GOING TO GET CAUGHT

JM: Is there anything else you would recommend to a future inmate?
Ryan: SPEND YOUR TIME THINKING AND INPROVING YOURSELF
Alex: Going from freedom to the least possible form- feeling like an animal with NO privacy. having a guard watch over EVERYthing you do. Literally feeling guilty until proven innocent but nobody wants to prove you innocent. Feeling that your "attorney" appointed by the court only wants you to plea is such a frustrating thing. 24 hours of doing nothing but wondering what's happening to your family and what's GOING to happen takes a toll on you.
George: KEEP TO YOUR SELF DONT TAKE NO "GIFTS"

Is there ever a way to get a no contact order dropped so that you can see the person you love without the courts messing with anyone? I have been trying to get this dropped but It's like I'm invisible.

Yea you can but you need to go to DV treatment first and comply with court orders. If you dont you have no chance of getting it droped.
